Comment I Dropped my SUV off and explained that the brakes were squishy. Ryan was point of contact. I was told that the front brakes needed to be replaced and that the rear drums had seized… which I highly doubted was true. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and now regret that. They charged me $950 for the service… and when I picked up my SUV, the brakes felt just as squishy… if not a little worse. I was told that they test drove it. If they had, they would of known the brakes were just as squishy.

I called to explain the situation and was told to bring it back in and that they would take care of it. I dropped it off the previous night, and then waited all day for a call to come pick it up. At 4:30, I finally called them and was told they can't figure out why they are squishy. He wanted to keep it longer… over the 3 day weekend. I explained I needed to use it, so I picked it up and then dropped it off again Monday night for Tuesday pick up. They called on Tuesday and told me that it's not the brakes… it's the master cylinder. They wanted another $850 to fix it. $1900 for a master cylinder and front breaks… and drums that were not a problem before they messed with them.

I am extremely disappointed… and angry. They are over-priced, don't complete the work on time, and then take no responsibility for their poor work. I was told that they had to do the $950 brake work before they could diagnose that the problem was the master cylinder. Then they wanted $850 for that. I'm 51 and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a mechanic. I would recommend getting a second quote BEFORE having them do any work.
