|Comment||I recently had the pleasurable experience of dealing with an exemplary company – A Plus Auto Care. I am always careful not to lavish praise unless it is well-deserved. And in this case, it is.
In the period extending from January 30, 2020 to February 10, 2021, A Plus Auto Care completed the task of acquiring a rebuilt transmission and installing it in my 2007 Trailblazer. I was very pleased with this 11-day turnaround time. Unbelievably, however, the owner apologized that the job took so long. She emphasized that the business was currently short-staffed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I was advised that the typical turnaround time for this type of job is less than one week.
The staff is demonstrably well-versed in all the intricate details surrounding transmissions – they know them inside and out since they replace transmissions on an almost-daily basis.
Their knowledge and expertise are rivaled only by their professionalism and courtesy. Michelle and Kelly were extremely accommodating and helpful. They were careful to make frequent customer contact to provide repair status updates. Very thorough.
I found the mechanics there to be excellent as well. Tony, the proprietor – himself a seasoned mechanic – has more than thirty years of transmission-related experience.
The mechanic who tested the transmission’s performance — I’m sorry I didn’t get his name – really went above and beyond when he observed a leaky rusted fluid line after the replacement had been completed. This potentially saved me the headache of dealing with future problems of a similar nature.
I have nothing negative to say regarding my experience with this stellar business, and I wholeheartedly recommend A Plus Auto Care.
